Three police cars were rammed during a high-speed pursuit in Kansas City, Kan., that resulted in the arrest of two suspects.
No police officers were injured in the chase that ended shortly before 9 p.m. near 81st Street and Ella Avenue, north of Interstate 70.
The pursuit began after an automobile accident was reported at 8:23 p.m. near the Turner Diagonal and Kaw Drive. While en route officers learned a female, believed to be injured, got into a brown Bronco and left the scene.
The Bronco was soon spotted near 65th Street and Kaw Drive but would not stop for police, who began a pursuit autel price. During the chase, the Bronco lost at least one tire, left the roadway and continued through back yards until it crashed. The male driver and female passenger were transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
