A man was arrested for failure to comply and operating a vehicle under the influence on Monday.
According to police, a vehicle was stopped partially in the roadway near the speedway on Dayton Yellow Springs Road.
When approached by police, the driver would not respond, and appeared to be falling asleep autel price. Police reports said he refused to unlock his vehicle, roll down his window or turn off his vehicle.
After several warnings and multiple warnings, an officer broke out the passenger side window.
The driver then put his car in drive and left the scene. He reportedly ran a red light on Dayton Yellow Springs Road and South Maple Street and turned right on Beaver Valley Road.
According to police reports, he was driving erratically, and crossed over into the other lanes of traffic. When officers tried to stop the vehicle, the driver failed to pull over. He then struck a police car electrical test tools, and backed into another police car.
The driver was taken into custody for suspected impaired driving and failure to comply with order or signal of police officer.
